Dakota Plains Credit Union recently held their “Sizzlin’ Summer Cookout” for members at their branches, including Enderlin, Edgeley, and Ellendale North Dakota. During the Edgeley cookout, the credit union even had some special guests! It seems that four bicyclists, riding from Washington, D.C. all the way to Spokane, WA were passing through on their way to Gackle where they planned to spend the night. Credit union staff invited them to enjoy some food and refreshments, and wished them good luck and fair weather on their journey. They are approximately at the half way point of their trip. More than 600 attended the Sizzlin’ Summer Cookouts where they were treated to burgers and hot dogs, as well as a good time!
