Sentinel FCU Awards $2,000 in Scholarships

BOX ELDER, S.D.  — Sentinel Federal Credit Union is pleased to announce the recipients of their 2019 Academic Scholarships. Four recipients each received a $500 scholarship for their academic excellence toward attending the college of their choice.

The recipients included Cole Conard, attending South Dakota State University; Skylar Ross, attending Augustana University; Jackson Armstrong, attending the University of South Dakota; and Sophia Lewis, a 2019 Winner High School graduate, attending Dakota State University in the Fall.

“Sentinel Federal Credit Union is proud to support and award these Academic Scholarships to graduating high school seniors and college students to help defray the expense of post-high school education,” said Sentinel Federal Credit Union President/CEO, Keith Robbennolt.  “We thank everyone who helped make this investment in our youth possible.”

Sentinel Federal Credit Union offers a full range of financial services including mortgage lending and business lending, serving nine South Dakota counties with seven convenient branches. Membership is open to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in Custer, Lawrence, Meade, Pennington, Gregory, Lyman, Mellette, Todd and Tripp counties in South Dakota and their immediate family members. The Credit Union has been guarding and protecting the financial well-being of its members since 1955.
