TruStone Financial Foundation Donates to Bunce Backyard Productions

PLYMOUTH, Minn. (Oct. 17, 2019) — In celebration of TruStone Financial Federal Credit Union’s 80th anniversary, each branch of the credit union has selected a local charity to receive a $1,000 donation from the TruStone Financial Foundation. As part of this initiative, TruStone Financial’s Maple Grove branch recently selected Bunce Backyard Productions to receive a donation from the Foundation.

Bunce Backyard Productions is a non-profit organization that creates high-quality theater productions for the community. Instead of charging admission to its shows, the organization asks the audience for donations to local charities. Since its founding by the Bunce family in 2007, Bunce Backyard Productions has raised more than $26,000 for charity. It also runs affordable summer and community theater camps for youth.

“Bunce Backyard Productions not only provides outstanding theater to the community, they also do so much to help support and educate those who want to be part of theater,” said Presten Bean, manager of the TruStone Financial branch in Maple Grove. “We’re happy to contribute to their mission of bringing hope and encouragement to the community through theater.”

Lori Bunce, Executive Director of Bunce Backyard Productions, thanked TruStone Financial for the donation. “We strive to bring joy and hope to the community through theater. Gifts like this one from TruStone go a long way in helping us produce quality shows that enrich the lives of our neighbors.”
