Middletown, Pa. (Nov. 13, 2019) – They’ve done it again!  Vizo Financial and Central Pennsylvania credit unions rocked another year of the Pay 4 Play radiothon benefitting Children’s Miracle Network (CMN) Hospitals as co-sponsors and volunteers! As the Pay 4 Play naming rights sponsor, Central Pennsylvania credit unions supported the 105.7 The X Rocks People’s Morning Show team in raising money for local CMN Hospital, Penn State Children’s Hospital in Hershey, Pa.

For 13 years, the 28-hour radiothon has been allowing listeners to request a song of their choice in exchange for a donation to Penn State Children’s Hospital. Some songs require higher donations, depending on how far the song deviates from the host station’s alternative rock genre.

The 2019 Pay 4 Play, hosted by 105.7 The X Rocks People’s Morning Show team of Nipsey, Earl David Reed and Jen Shade, was held from 5 a.m. on Nov. 7 through 9 a.m. on Nov. 8. During this time, the morning show hosts accepted requests and donations from callers with a little help from the phone bank volunteers, including employees from several Central Pennsylvania credit unions.

This year’s event raised $359,410.19! In its 13-year run, Pay 4 Play has brought in more than $2 million for CMN Hospitals.
