NuMark Credit Union Offering ree Debt Management Seminars

Joliet, IL - February 13, 2020 - Have you gone a day without spending any money? Sounds easy, right? It would be pretty hard without creating a budget for your money and sticking to it. If we fall short and spend more money than allotted, our debt could increase. However, there is good news! Having some debt is acceptable, because there is a thing as good and bad debt. Do you know the difference?

Your finances can be painful to manage, especially if you feel like you are drowning in a sea of debt. Knowing the benefits and costs of credit and being able to identify warning signs of debt is important to debt management. NuMark Credit Union is offering a free seminar titled “How to Manage Debt, So It Does Not Manage You”, so that you can learn about all aspect of debt management.

This seminar will take place from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at the following locations:

 Thursday, March 26th at the New Lenox Park District at 701 W. Haven Avenue.

 Tuesday, March 31st at our Countryside office located at 9809 W. 55th Street.

 Tuesday, April 7 th at our Crest Hill branch located at 2380 Caton Farm Road.

This free seminar will help many gain an understanding of how to determine types of debt, identify the advantages and disadvantages of using credit, and learn about things to consider when you are adding debt. This seminar is a great resource for those who are wanting to manage their money and for those who would like to learn more about the ins and outs of credit scores. Participants do not need to be a NuMark Credit Union member to take advantage of this FREE seminar. Seating is limited, so interested participants should register in advance. Light refreshments will be available at no cost.
