Hometown CU Awards $2,000 in Scholarships

Kulm, ND - May 12, 2020 - Hometown Credit Union is pleased to announce the recipients of their four $500 scholarships for 2020. Congratulations to: Maren Berntson, Winter Malone, Caitlin Molter, and Kristi Carpenter. These scholarships were open for applicants planning to enroll in a post-secondary college program or trade school. HCU had a total of 10 applicants. Two local community members were asked to judge the applications, which were scored on the basis of involvement in their school, community, and personal achievements, as well as an essay.
